Haunted Castle on Hallow's Eve

Jack, Annie, and Teddy must restore order to a duke's castle, on the outer realm of Camelot, for Merlin. Jack and Annie reunite with Teddy from the Enchanted Dog arc who becomes a recurring character in the rest of the books. It is also the first book where Jack and Annie perform their own magic.

Can Jack and Annie save the unicorn, Dianthus, before Balor and Grinda take him away? In this book Jack and Annie are given the power to make magic on their own.

But it turns out they aren't very happy, who needs help more, Merlin, or themselves? When they get rescued by scientists on a ship, in the Atlantic Ocean, they are looking for a sea monster (it's actually an octopus), not a secret of happiness! But soon, they (Jack and Annie) fall overboard! Then they find the sea monster . . . This book is 128 pages long, making it the longest book in the series.

Only the penguins have the answer to this question. It is also different from most Magic Tree Houses as Jack and Annie do not travel through time. High Tide in Hawaii and a few more may also take place in present day but it is not specifically stated unlike in this book.

Book one: Revenge Of The Living Dummy

Billy Deep and his sister Sheena always expect adventure when they visit their uncle Dr. D. Later, an invitation to HorrorLand leads the siblings and their new friend Matt into another terrifying situation


Book three: Monster Blood For Breakfast


Athletic Matt Daniels and his sister Livvy can't stand their neighbor Bradley "Worm" Wormser, who copies Matt in every way he can. Later, Abby visits HorrorLand, where she meets another Very Special Guest, Michael "Monster" Munroe, and the Horror named Byron. But can he really help them out?


Book seven: My Friends Call Me Monster

Michael "Monster" Munroe has had it with his teacher Mrs. Hardesty. But during an attempt to get even, he discovers her true nature... and a giant egg in her attic! Later, Michael visits HorrorLand and meets Abby Martin, another of the Very Special Guests. With his help, the VSGs finally manage to access the internet from the underground tunnels. It is here that they discover a blog by two previous visitors to HorrorLand, as well as information about the founders of HorrorLand and the mysterious Panic Park, which could be the only safe way out of their predicament... or is it?


Book eight: Say Cheese-And Die Screaming

A picture is worth a thousand screams... especially one taken by Julie's new camera, which has the bizarre power to predict a nasty future for anyone in its way. If that's not scary enough, a trip to HorrorLand is also in Julie's future, including a nightmarish experience in the Tunnel of Screams!


Book nine: Welcome To Camp Slither

Spooky legends aside, animal-loving siblings Boone and Heather Dixon can't wait to get to Camp Hither, but an infestation of snakes soon changes their minds. Even after they can get to the bottom of the trouble, more danger awaits when Boone gets to HorrorLand and finds a group of kids being strangled by what appears to be purple snakes!


Book ten: Help We Have Strange Powers

Twins Jillian Gerard and Jackson Gerard need help. They've developed some really strange abilities, and soon find themselves being targeted by an evil organization that wants to control that power. And the danger doesn't stop once they get to HorrorLand, where they join the rest of the Very Special Guests and meet a couple of surprising faces from the past.


Book elven: Escape From Horrorland

Luke and Lizzy Morris have returned to HorrorLand, intending to save the Very Special Guests from their mysterious enemy. But even their best efforts can't stop the VSGs from fleeing to Panic Park, where the sixteen must confront some old foes from their pasts, and finally meet the man known as The Menace, the person who lured them into Panic Park and expects them to stay there... forever!


Book twelve: The Streets Of Panic Park

They escaped from HorrorLand. But they ended up trapped in Panic Park instead, at the mercy of The Menace. In order to escape the nightmare for good, fourteen Very Special Guests and two returning visitors to HorrorLand must face their fear with the help of some frightful allies... and finally bring the adventure to an end


Book thirteen: Welcome To Horrorland A Survival guide

Luke and Lizzy Morris have done a lot of research on HorrorLand. They learned about the dangers in store for its visitors, kept their own blog about it, and even posted a copy of the HorrorLand Welcome Guide online. And now, they've formally published that same guide, including all their notes and comments, as a warning to would-be visitors to HorrorLand. The thrill ride concludes here... or does it?
